Through the eyes of sisters - Topic: Water

This weeks topic was from my sister, I think it was a great topic, we are having to start saying our goodbyes to summer, and being coastal that means good bye long lazy days on the beach, she is saying hello to spring and good bye snow which is no doubt has almost all but melted ... water all around us.

So with that in mind ...

Pam was feeding her friends horses, looking into the pond while the fish were feeding on the surface. Notice how you can just look at something and not know what is really going on underneath, or what ripples it causes and how far those ripples reach .... so when you go out there and make your waves - make sure they are good waves because you never know where those ripples will hit land!

as for me ...
I headed off to the beach family in tow in quest for this weeks picture. The day was gorgeous, the sun was bright and the sky cloudless! The sea was, however, a little rough but it makes the perfect playground for surfers! So while the kids frolicked in the froth of the water I sat on the shore snapping at the surfers ... what a hard life this is! I know these days are numbered, and I would go as far to say as that was probably our last proper beach visit of the season, unless April has something good in store for us. In tribute to what has been an awesome summer, and to tie in to this weeks topic ... here is my pic:

This topic was just so versatile I couldn't resist adding some extra snaps, there is just something about rain that is so refreshing, cleansing and beautiful, one of my favourite things is shooting flowers after rain ... good thing I live in a rainy climate I guess, whenever I get a good shot the thing that comes to mind is "angels tears" ...
